LUTPub is the publication repository of LUT University, containing Bachelor's and Master's theses, licentiate theses, doctoral dissertations and their abstracts. In addition, publications, research datasets, teaching and presentation materials are stored in LUTPub. In autumn 2018, LUTPub replaced the former Doria publication repository and acts as a repository for parallel saved publications.
The metadata and theses files stored in the theses collections are openly accessible online. At LUT, students can also agree on delayed publication of their thesis. In this case, the thesis file will only be accessible in LUTPub after the embargo period has ended. If you want to read a thesis with an embargo, you can email us at lutpub@lut.fi.
The thesis file saved in LUTPub has to be checked and approved for publishing by the first supervisor. The file should be in PDF/A format. The PDF/A file format is a requirement for the long-term preservation of files set by the National Library of Finland, the administrator of LUTPub. The student and the thesis supervisor are responsible for ensuring that the thesis submitted to LUTPub complies with the given guidelines in terms of layout and content. The student is responsible for ensuring that the thesis file meets the accessibility requirements.
The correct format of the thesis file is PDF/A.
