Thesis workspace (1295A) is located on the library's bottom floor (2nd floor of the building). Thesis has 11 workstations that are reserved for LUT and LAB students writing their theses. Students can reserve a workstation for 8 weeks. The reservation is made at the LUT Academic Library Lappeenranta customer service (kirjasto.lappeenranta@lut.fi), where the key to access Thesis is also picked up at the beginning of one's reservation.
All the workstations have a computer with a separate screen, desk and screens that provide privacy. There are also lockers for each workstation user.
Thesis writers can borrow a lockable mobile cart for their materials. The carts are kept in the silent working space Silencio (1484B), the carts can be moved to other locations in the library.
