AI in information retrieval

How do I cite AI?

If a text or image created by an AI is used, either directly or in a modified form, it should be referenced in the same way as other sources used. Even if the AI-generated image or text is not reproduced as such for subsequent users, knowledge of the AI used and its version will allow you to make a similar prompt, at least getting close to the source you used. It is also advisable to save the answers received from the AI for possible future use.

Please refer to the AI toolkit policies (LAB & LUT) and the reference guidelines for theses at your institution (LAB & LUT).
