Do I have to create an account?
To access Financial Times, you need to create a personal Financial account with lut.fi, student.lut.fi, lab.fi or student.lab.fi e-mail. Although the Welcome page states Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT as a subscriber, LAB University of Applied Sciences users are covered with the same subscription.
Step 1) To create an account, go to:
Financial Times - Welcome to FT Professional webpage.
Use your organizational e-mail address and press "Next".
Step 2) You will receive a verification code by e-mail, to continue, enter the code to the web page and press "Confirm code".
Step 3) Add your details and choose if you want to receive mail from FT. Check the box "I confirm that I´m 16 or older and have read and agreed to the full Terms & Conditions and Click "Next". Notice, you have also accepted how your personal information is used (Privacy Policy).
Step 4) Choose if you are a Student or a Faculty/Other, and press "Activate subscription".
Optional steps) You can select which topics you are interested in, etc. You can also Skip this part by pressing "Skip for now".
