Latest edition of CRC Handbook of Chemisty and Physics with the latest facts and figures, the Handbook contains the most frequently used data in science, including the periodic table of the elements, basic constants and units, thermodynamic and spectroscopic data, electric, magnetic, thermal and structural properties of solids, key data from nuclear science, astronomy and geophysics, and up-to-date health and safety information.

Current members of the faculty, researchers and other staff of the Licensee (whether on a permanent, temporary, contract or visiting basis), registered library patrons and individuals who are currently studying at the Licensee's institution.

Permitted use

Authorised Users may, in accordance with the Licence and the Restrictions:
- search, view, retrieve and display the Licensed Materials on the device to which the Licensed Materials are downloaded for viewing purposes only;
- print, copy and paste up to 20% per single eBook, serial or other literary work forming part of the Licensed Materials under this Agreement, in a rolling 30 day period, per Authorised User, for Personal Use only.

Prohibited use

Authorised Users (or any other persons provided with access to the Licensed Materials and/or Online Services) shall not:

  • remove or alter the authors’ names or the Publisher's copyright notices or other means of identification or disclaimers as they appear in the Licensed Materials;
  • systematically print or make electronic copies of multiple extracts of the Licensed Materials, including complete ebooks, for any purpose;
  • upload or distribute any part of the Licensed Materials or provide access credentials or log in details which allow access to the Licensed Materials by any unauthorised person on any electronic network, including without limitation the internet and the World Wide Web, other than via the Secure Network as authorised by this Agreement; or
  • attempt to reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce to human-perceivable form all or any part of the Licensed Materials and/or the Online Services.
  • The Licensee must not, and shall procure that Authorised Users (or any other persons provided with access to the Licensed Materials and/or Online Services) do not, without obtaining the Publisher's prior written consent:

  • use all or any part of the Licensed Materials for any Commercial Use;
  • systematically distribute or otherwise make available the whole or any part of the Licensed Materials to anyone other than Authorised Users;
  • copy, duplicate, publish, create derivate works from, frame, mirror, republish, download, display, transmit, distribute or make available all or any portion of the Licensed Materials (as applicable), works based on the Licensed Materials or works which combine the Licensed Materials with any other material, in any form or media or by any means, other than as permitted in this Agreement; or
  • alter, abridge, adapt or modify the Licensed Materials. For the avoidance of doubt, no alteration of the words within the Licensed Materials or their order is permitted.
